I think that my earlier post got lost. I came back to add to it so in case it shows up again, excuse the repeat.
The color version does it for me.
I initially just posted that, then went off and have been thinking about why I prefer the color. I guess it is because I am so used to seeing black and white images (and converting mine as well) that I am actually starting to appreciate more the delicate colors which can come from the Leica / Voigtländer / Konica glass.
Glad you left a second post, as the first one never materialized. I agree about appreciating colour in the images, when it enhances. Often it distracts, and I suspect that’s why you and I tend to convert to B&W.
I would also add that each of the Leica/Voigtländer/Konica lenses render colour differently – something I never fully appreciated until recently.
