Hi Peter. For several weeks, I have been intending to give you feedback on this image. I like it so much because of its layering—the woman, dog, bicyclist… and you almost caught the guys sitting on the yellow bench. Then there is the geometry of circles and the subjects including the men on the bench forming a pyramid. There is a lot going on while the background is soft and quiet, not distracting. Maybe, I have over analyzed, but I just love it. The Downtown series was wonderful…many ordinary scenes that were nonetheless very engaging. Good work. George
I’m glad you like this image George! It’s a hot mess of overlapping elements but somehow it comes together in a nice geometry, as you mention. Even ignoring that, the end result reminds me of those gods with many limbs.
