For me, this Zeiss gives me an impression like a “mixture” between Leica and Nikon lenses = Leicon!
That’s an interesting observation Andreas.
This lens is different enough from my others – in focal length (widest one), in aperture (f/2.8 maximum) – that it’s an apples-to-oranges comparison… so it’s difficult for me to draw any meaningful conclusions.
Despite the above image, I don’t see myself using this lens primarily for people photography (like I once used my 24mm Summilux), but I do see a use for “scenes” (that may or may not contain people).
