Wonderful and tender capture Peter. The rendering looks a bit like my Zeiss 35mm 2.0 M mount that when combined with 35mm B&W film really sings. Some complain online of inconsistent focus with the Sigma 35 art, although the optics are uniformly praised. Has this been an issue for you? Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for your inspiration and advice.
Thank you.
I’ve found inconsistent focus with the Nikon 24/1.4 and now the Nikon 85/1.4G, but not with this lens. In fact, I’d rather reach for it instead of any other.
I should add, this image was taken wide open at f/1.4, and focus was on the “story book” reader.
Two books, two story tellers…
Thank you for getting that, Greg.
