Wish you a happy new year as well! Thanks for all the beautiful pictures of 2014; And for pushing CCD on Leica; And for keeping your website ad-free, it makes a huge difference in this ad-plagued worldwide web.

So, Peter, have you yet thought about possible “resolutions” for the coming year?

Photographically, the general shape of mine are already in place. I “resolved” to simplify my gear situation and shoot more. My recent sale of 4 cameras together with 10 lenses and some associated equipment in favor of a Nikon Df and a few prime lenses (nearly all of which I already had) has seen to the former. I considered an M8 and single lens but it was simply too limiting (especially in light of my uncertain eyesight). My impending retirement from everyday work will hopefully allow the latter.

I have a “loose” idea about a “project” of sorts and we’ll see how that goes. Keeping motivated to repeatedly step outside my comfort zone will be the trick. All else (like health) notwithstanding, I’m looking forward to 2015 with about equal parts anticipation and trepidation. 🙂

I wish all the best for you, R, and the kids for the coming year.

No resolutions for me Greg. Certainly not with placing limits on my photography gear experimentation… I know myself too well!

Good luck with your project, should you pursue it. Please let me know.

And, my best to you and yours for 2015 of course.

      —Peter.
