Peter this Part 1 draws me in more than Part 2, personally of course. I thinks the fact it almost looks like a scene from a play or something like that :-). The viewer gets to see the character of the subjects more so. I also like the B&W!

I am hesitant to prefer this one on the basis of color versus black and white, but this is undeniably the stronger composition in many ways as highlighted by Andrew, but also just in its lines. Still it has a different “feel” to the color “Postures”, losing (for its other gains) a little spontaneity and mystery. Both are delightful, but being a great fan of the mysterious in your childhood images, I may actually prefer (ever so slightly) the former.
