As they say…”Its a dogs life….” Clever photo Peter!
Also really liking this lens! Is one version better than the other when it comes to this?
Great capture. Perfect title!
ha ha. Nice tones. Would love to see more from the 40 Lux ASPH on the M3…
Brilliant! That’s just how I feel on Friday afternoon after a hard week. Ha Ha!

Aggghhhh! Wicked shot Peter! Absolutely love this. R.
Thanks for the comments everybody.
Andrew, the I’ve used both the SC and MC version of the 401/1.4 (I love Antonio’s description of this as the “40 Lux ASPH”). This is the SC version that I’ve specifically chosen for my film B&W work, though I’ve used it on the M9 and M240 with no obvious discernible difference (for both colour and B&W) from the MC version.
Bo, that’s how I feel too!
Rob, thank you. And Roel, thanks for your appreciation of the title.
Great photo – gorgeous puppy!
Nice capture. i had a Welsh terrier that used to kill soccer balls whenever he got hold of one.
Thank you cnz and tows.
No need to feel deflated even though the titling is one of your best (and that is saying something). You made a world class photograph (goes in the book I hope) and your pup got the ball just the way she wanted it. One person’s punctured soccer ball is another dog’s portable friend. You made this so well that one feels even the softness of the fur. So many balls to tame….so little time. If she feels despair …..just tell her….and anyone…..one ball at a time…one day at a time. Really, really well done.
Thank you. I don’t think there will ever be a book (except a family album), but it’s nice to think about it…
