Despite this being a hand-held image at a reasonably slow shutter speed, the in-focus areas readily display the “crisp” rendering we get from CCD sensors.
The colours are remarkable too, considering this was photographed under incandescent light.

Slightly OT, is that a nice bottle of Bailey’s I see on the table? And although I have and enjoy both the M & M9, I agree with the ccd’s qualities (and rare deficiencies) that I can’t emulate on the M.
No Bailys, but some cheap stuff that is there for decoration only. The out-of-focus gold box to the left contains something special though…
Yes the M vs. the M9… hmmm… I may have gone on record a few – oh, I don’t know – thousand times about my view on those two 😉
