I am not sure (bearing in mind I’m quite partial to B&W) that you’ve made any image of R where she looks more lovely, maybe a few equal, but none more so and the use of all that dark space around her; if this is a nocturne, she’s definitely its melody carried by the viola, with the cello in its lowest register behind, interspersed with a brighter but soft line from the violins. So very beautiful…
Love this.
so glad you reverted to the M9, i think its the perfect tool for your photography. lovely photo
Are her querying eyes looking up to read a sign, to see something or someone above? The tall 3/4 of a Christian cross looming beyond in the night almost suggests communion with deity. After all, she does have a true madonna like face.
Monochrome plus minimalist night-time lighting reduces the image and its suggestion of ulterior significance to bare essentials!
Dear Bo, Pi, Greg, Kim, Marc, and Frank – thank you so much. Marc, yes indeed, the M9 seems to be suit me the best!
Once again, Peter, AWSOME!!!!
Agree awesome
