Wow, great images. I love his vertical approach. Awesome! Congrats Hugues! And thank you, Peter for bringing us H’s work. Cheers! Teresa.
Dear Teresa,
First of all, your name is really beautiful!
Thank you for your comment, which gives me courage to continue my progress …
This is some time, I found that most of my images are in vertical (portrait) format …
I probably should feel comfortable with this “style” ….
Glad you enjoyed my set!
Warm regards.
Hugues.
A treat to view your images Hugues. I can feel your connection to your surroundings (and your Leica!)
Hello Jason,
thank you for your comment!
I’m glad you appreciated the spirit of this set, as well as efforts with my Leica!
Warm Regards.
Hugues.
Hugues, I have long been a big fan of your work. Here’s my original comment with a translation of it into French courtesy of my daughter (with a little Google translation help). She’s pretty fluent using her own vocabulary, but translation is another challenge entirely. Anyway, we hope it works reasonably.

Piano keys: a rainy night, a woman in high heeled boots striding clean from black to ivory, fragments of a blond beauty on a wrought iron balcony, the grimy hand, lit cigarette, face far out of focus. Such a Paris, as if from Bill Evans, real and spare and always on the essential melody.
I am delighted to know that you like my “work”!
I want to thank your daughter and you Greg for this delicate attention to me!
I went to listen to me on YouTube, a little Bill Evans … and I read the words of your daughter on some melodies Mr Evans … while looking at my pics …
A beautiful poem and the translation worked …
Finally, I attach great importance to music, texts and melodies … Just like photography, there gives me great emotions and feelings I’m trying to transpose images …
