Mark, your set at Huff’s site was absolutely delightful. I try not to comment over there, so I hope Peter will excuse me for the wandering commentary.

Hee hee…why am I thanking Greg on Peter’s site??

          🙂

Anyway, thanks to you both–Greg for your comments, and Peter for kicking it all off!

Now back to the regularly-scheduled great shot of today…

Looking forward to more like this Peter. These focal lengths can become story telling tools and fortunately it’s in the right hands….

Interesting how different folks react so differently to the same image. I, as opposed to Ian above, found the most evocative portion of the image to be the soft distant city skyline. I thought it lent it a fantasy air, like a surreal Camelot by Ursala Le Guin. I was taken enough by that notion about the image that it produced a poem, which I’ll spare you all, but I don’t think the image’s pull on the imagination would have been as strong (for me, of course) with a different presentation. I loved how this lens drew this scene.
