Thank you Preeti. And thank you for noticing the error – it’s corrected now.
Can’t help but say it Peter – really wish you didn’t get rid of the MM 🙂
Thanks Kevin. No problem about commenting on the Monochrom – I actually appreciate your honest opinion. Still, I decided to do what I thought was best. We’ll see…
Powerfull portrait.
Thank you kindly Blaz, and welcome to the site.
Peter, It’s beautiful. Your best image taken with the MM so far, IMHO.
Thank you dear Luiz. If you like this one more than the rest, it’s probably because I actually had some decent light to work with, and I was using my 50/1.4 ASPH 🙂 .
🙂
To be honest I didn’t like so much how the 90/2 asph renders… I would say the 50/1.4 renders a way better than the former.
The 50/1.4 ASPH is the best lens Leica makes, IMHO.
Totaly agree.
It’s not just on web-sized images that this lens shines. I’ve created large prints for clients (24 x 36 inches) and this lens is just incredible – more so than the 35/1.4 FLE, for example (although that too is a very nice lens).
I would say large prints are the goal for this lens — or for any good Leica glass. 🙂
You were right when I inquired you about the 35/1.4 FLE II (which I got also): a superb lens, the best 35mm, IMHO — 🙂 But I feel more confortable with the 28mm lenght (and the summicron asph is just lovely), by chance I prefer its rendering rather than the 35 summilux one, but it’s just me of course… Thanks again Peter for so many ways you help my photography.
great image.
Thank you Philip.
Beautiful picture. Lovely light on the face.
