I seldom engage in street photography, because moments like this are few and far between.
However, if one is able to capture an instance like this — a moment of serendipity — and manage to frame it in a nice way, it’s a euphoric experience.

Well Henri…sorry I meant Peter….you certainly caught “the decisive moment.” Great work.
Thanks Andrew.
Great capture!
Thank you Preeti.
…was she really though? I mean did you ask her? 🙂
Anyway, phenomenal capture…Really a striking photograph. That 28 seems to be a great find for you.
All the best,
M.
Mark, I asked her after I took the photo.
She confirmed her birth date but I – not satisfied – requested some identification and she complied. I can assure you she is 85 years old.
Overall, a good day for everybody, including octogenarian buildings and women.
Peter.
…and all taken WITH a 28. Amazing!
She doesn’t look a day over 82.
🙂
M.
It’s crazy-coincidental. She was 82 three years ago though, in 2008+2!
Serendipitous: MCMXXVIII is just not the the same. 🙂
Not even close.
Incidentally, I’m glad you are all taking my street photography very seriously…
Très Cher Peter,
Here is a picture I would have liked to!
Really the type of picture that I also like …
Some would need a 300 mm … But you, with your 28 mm, being the core issue, the image takes on a whole different scale …
Congratulations for this great achievement!
Hugues.
