These latest postings have been fantastic Peter. Out of curiousity, when you first got your Nocti – did you need to get everything calibrated? And if yes, how long did it take?

Absolutely beautiful B&W tones Peter, proof to anyone that needed it that the M9 in the right hands can deliver beautiful B&W’s. The Noct is certainly proving to be a worthy companion, lovely, fun shot.

    All the best, Jason.

Thanks Jason. The M9 is certainly great for B&W photography… but the Monochrom has some other kind of magic (as evidenced by some of your images, and our friends Hugues and Ashwin). And, the high ISO of the Monochrom would surely be welcomed by me.

I must admit, however, it’s nice to have the M9 and have the option of colour as well as B&W in one camera.

Beautiful portrait! Really like the shallow DOF and the sharpness of the Noct. Did you shoot this in the studio or available light only?

AWESOME! At the first glance I thought it was shot with studio light, but knowing you it had to be available light (only):-)

Very very nice. This is one of my recent favourites. Can I put an early nomination in for best of 2013 inclusion….. I know it’s sometime off so just a nomination!!

Agree with Jason, tones are fantastic.

    Cher Peter,

I think there is no more beautiful than the light of day …
You proved once again with this wonderful achievement.
You must have quite a crop, for this frame …
The only complaint (with the price of course) I do for this beast … Black and white tone is gorgeous, and I imagine what the future M with the 24 MP will in rendering …
The ability to crop and make a very precise focus with the Noct … That happiness … Perhaps?
Otherwise, thank you for notifying the results I get with the MM talk to you …
Peter, once again, I want to tell you that you are the source of my progress, and your pictures have a very strong impact on the way I look and see … Keeping my personality and sensibility … when I walk … You’re by my side my friend …

    Warm regards.

    Hugues.
