Peter a very clever composition! The parallel lines, three buildings in two, the reflection and the colours.
I have been holding off for a little while though to comment. I was curious as to how many others might comment. It’s very interesting how you (or others) will get less comments about objects vs. people close to you or whom seem interesting.
It highlights the fact that people seem more aroused by experiences rather than objects (objects being related to materialism). I read an article about this looking at this question…. Do you remember what you got for a certain birthday vs. various events or social gatherings in your life?
It’s nice to think most of us seem drawn to experiences and what other people experience and why this type of photography shines.
Thats not to say we shouldn’t take images like the one here. Just an observation.
Keep em coming!
“It highlights the fact that people seem more aroused by experiences rather than objects…”
…that’s why I believe it’s difficult to create an interesting landscape shot – and why I admire those who can.
Thanks Andrew, once again, for your thoughtfulness.
