Peter I was just reading some reviews of this lens before checking your site to see what you’d been shooting!!
Wow. As per usual your use of light is awesome.
As harsh as that country can be it looks like a beautiful place to be taking some photos!
Thanks Andrew.
I used to shoot the 28 Elmarit ASPH with the M8, because the M8 crop gave it an (approximately) 37mm field-of-view. It’s a wonderful lens… very small, very light, incredibly flare resistant, virtually zero distortion, contrasy, and great resolving ability.
Stunning landscape image! Did you do lot of PP?
Thanks Jeroen. This is from three years ago, but as I recall, it was almost straight out of the camera (I think I slightly lightened the shadows) but the light was so magical that I didn’t want to spoil it!
Wow! With that in mind this image is even more beautiful:-). My personal preference is to shoot images as much as possible straight OOC. Maybe with some minor PP tweaks. I am in favor of caputering the moment as ‘natural’ as possible. Did you meter on the sun and overexposed it a little bit in order to expose the rest properly (with some PP afterwards)?
Ps this image grabbed me immeditaly;-)! Nice post by the way!
