Thanks Gage! I wanted to get an interesting “artsy” shot of C, her mother, and her grandmother all together, for posterity (they had surprised her with this photo shoot – a gift for her 16th birthday). We did the shoot yesterday, and I’ll be posting an image each day this week, as I process the files. I’ve also got a more conventional image of the 3 of them, where all their faces are more visible… I might post that one too.
Look forward to seeing more this week.

As Gage said, the composition of this image is great…well done!
Your last 3 photos are really splendid. I really enjoy getting the new pictures, and am looking forward to it every day on my email. Great craft and eye.
What do you use to convert your Photos to BW?
darek
Thank you Darek! I use Aperture with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 for my B&W conversions…
Since following you I thought you were likely using Silver Efex Pro. It is phenomenal software. Oh, I use Aperture also but have nothing against Lightroom.
Wonderful shot and composition Peter.
