Normally, when I miss focus, I discard the shot. But, I decided to keep this one.

Maybe the shot works better this way, its certainly a great catch, guess we’ll never know. You can keep your snow though, our summer has finally arrived… 😉
It may in fact be a better shot for it… the mood of actually being there is better conveyed than the other (in focus) shots I took. I’ll take your summer weather too, by the way…
Peter, this is a great shot! Both in the way it conveys how it actually feels to be in this snowy weather – eyes squinted and blurry vision (I know, this weather living in Copenhagen, Denmark ;-)), but also in the way the miss focus gives it a “graphic-design-poster” character (in lack of a better word), which is very nice. I would put a large print of this on a big wall in a semi-industrial loft apartment with rustic wooden beams and rough brick walls. 🙂
I like your style Mads 🙂 ! While I was shooting, I thought this image should be discarded but refrained from deleting it immediately. When I arrived home and viewed it on my monitor, I realized I actually liked it… a lot. I’m glad you’re seeing what I’m seeing in it.
Very cool. I often enjoy ‘sketched’ pictures and this certainly has that feel – the moment is perfectly caught. too.
